This Moment - Fracture

A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week or day or experiences . A simple moment….extraordinary moment… a moment where one can just be. A moment in time where I can pause…savor… and remember.

This Moment is a ritual found on Life inspired by the Wee Man adopted from SouleMama which was introduced to me by Sarah-Jane of Samuel Michaels Photography.       Nelieta This is certainly not my finest moment but this is life!! Mri revealed a fractured bone in wrist thus the space-age hi-tech cast. All is good as I have Cody to cheer me up :) Take care :)

      Not sure....just been aching for several weeks. Finally got a MRI this week thus the fancy cast.

      There's not much pain unless I bend the hand too far. This is nothing compared to the kidney stones I get ;)

      It's an injury that I can't explain...just started hurting one day and hasn't stopped. Dr says it should be healed in a month or maybe a little longer :)

    OH NO! Sorry to hear hopefully it will heal soon... although, that contraption looks by far better than the 'Old Time' casts. Can you take it off to scratch? or must you use the Old trusty hanger?

    eewww ouch... Kidney Stones?! I got them ONCE!!! I called 911 thought I was going to die from pain. I'm sorry to hear that you get them often... now that is horrible!!!!

      It's removable for itchy situations as well as waterproof...I was instructed to shower with it on then use a blow dryer to remove the wetness. I love this cast...it's formed to the hand and oh so cool. The tension on the hand is adjustable so I can loosen or tighten as I desire. The USA Olympics teams uses these and its obvious why.

      Kidney stones are the devil!!!! :) I've had surgery twice for them and surely I'll have it again someday. Hope you never get them again. Thanks for visiting!!

      It is much much better and I highly recommend asking for one if the need ever arises....Knock on wood you never do :) In time it will feel as good as new. Thanks for stopping by!!

      Andy Appreciate the well wishes!! The wrist isn't healing as planned thus I'm on short term disability from work until probably sometime in June. Guess I have lots of time for blogging now ;) Take care!!
