A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week or day or experiences . A simple moment….extraordinary moment… a moment where one can just be. A moment in time where I can pause…savor… and remember.
This Moment is a ritual found on Life inspired by the Wee Man adopted from SouleMama which was introduced to me by Sarah-Jane of Samuel Michaels Photography. If you would like to participate….. then post your picture on a Friday and leave your link in the comment section and above so that I and others can visit you as well.
Oh! An independent bookstore! Those are, sadly, so few and far between these days . . .
ReplyDeleteGreat moment, David!
Independent is the only way to go!! The staff at E Shavers have been good friends for many many years and loved Erin as she did them. Cody enjoys going there as well :)

DeleteIt was my childhood dream to have one of those! So glad you have this special place, David.
ReplyDeleteIt will be a sad day for Savannah and society in general if they ever close their doors forever. I've always thought it'd be awesome to work in a bookstore. Thanks Corinne!!

ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of used bookstores as well...You never know what will be found and the cost is hard to beat anywhere. Thanks for visiting Bonnie!!
DeleteI'm not much of a book-reader, but I do love to be in a library. I know, doesn't make much sense, does it? I love the sign...it sort of reminds me of 'ol timey' kind of days :)
ReplyDeleteThere is something magical about being surrounded by mountains of books. E Shaver is an old bookstore thus this sign has some age to it. A reminder of the good ole days indeed!! Mary thanks for stopping by!!
DeleteDavid we have some stores like this in Vancouver, one of my fav's being Banyon Books...where I used to go and get lost on a rainy day...curling up in a corner with a stack of books trying to make up my mind...this is a beautiful moment...one picture...conjuring up memories of times where we can still actually put our hands on real books...thank you dear friend for the reminder...Always...
ReplyDeleteMy favorite place. :-)
